WEConnect International would like to invite you to join us for an afternoon event on Wednesday 26th November 2014 in Amsterdam
This event will feature a workshop on successful use of social media for your business followed by networking with other women owned businesses as well as representatives from WEConnect International corporate members: Accenture, Dell, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, MSD and The Royal Bank of Scotland.
The event will start with introductions and a short presentation from WEConnect International sharing an overview of their top tips about building business relationships with multinational organisations.
The social media workshop, led by IBM’s Ben Martin, will help you as a business owner to know and understand how to most effectively use social media channels for business success. Ben is the Global Lead for IBM’s Digital Sales Program Office and he has spent many years evangelising and coaching people on how to use social media effectively to drive revenue. He describes himself as a ‘virtual taxi driver’ – he knows that social media is very personality driven and as such everyone’s on their own online journey and Ben will help you along the way! He will share best practices, insight into attitudes and online behaviours as well as ways to overcome hurdles in the social media space in order to help your business grow.
The session will be very open and interactive; when you sign up for the event, we’ll be asking you what you want to know, what you want to achieve and what your objectives are around social media in order to provide a focussed afternoon’s workshop. Ben has previously presented for WEConnect International in the UK and the feedback from the women-owned businesses was extremely positive so we’re excited that he can present for women-owned businesses based in the Netherlands.
Ben's workshop will be followed by a Q&A session amongst the attendees and WEConnect International corporate members to further discuss the topic and any challenges women owned businesses face in with social media. The afternoon will close with informal networking and drinks until 6pm.
