Free Webinar - Is your Business Ready for GDPR?

The recording of this webinar can be found here.

Sem's slides for her presentation can be found here.

This webinar will give you an introduction to the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which comes into force on 25th May 2018, enforcing a strict set of new rules concerning privacy and data security and imposing strict penalties on violators including small businesses. GDPR affects anyone holding data on EU citizens, including those companies not in Europe.

Are you relying on cloud-based backup, third party order processing, outsourced customer support or software as service application providers who are responsible for storing and processing your customers’ data? You need to ensure that they are also compliant with GDPR regulations, especially if they are responsible for your client’s data.

The following topics will be tackled:

  • What is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?
  • Who does the GDPR affect?
  • Penalties for non-compliance
  • Key changes to the GDPR
  • Steps to prepare for compliance
  • Steps to recover from a data breach
